Free service for Covid-19 patients
Unichem Campus Pharmacy is introducing a new service to support Covid-19 positive patients.
The service includes:
- Free medication for all regular prescription item medications dispensed from the GP when the patient is in isolation. It can be a regular three-month script.
- Free supply of Paracetamol, Ibuprofen and Electrolytes from the pharmacy if needed and not written on the script.
- Free consultation with the pharmacist about the medications dispensed, and any other queries or concerns.
- Free delivery of the medication to the patient - either same day or next day delivery depending on urgency and availability of staff.
The Doctor or nurse sending the script must notify the pharmacy that the patient is Covid-19 positive via an annotate on the script and give them a call when they expect it to be delivered to ensure the pharmacy can provide the service promptly.
If a patient has no script, they can ring the pharmacy for a free consultation, and a delivery of free Paracetamol, Ibuprofen, electrolytes, and any other shop items can be organised.
If there is a known list of Covid-19 positive patients the pharmacy can contact them directly and arrange the delivery of these medications.
Please note: Do not visit the pharmacy when tested positive for Covid-19 or if you have Covid-19 symptoms. Ring the pharmacy on 09-3771991 to make use of this service.
