Nationals schedule
Waipapa Taumata Rau, University of Auckland compete in a calendar of events throughout the year hosted by University Tertiary Sport New Zealand (UTSNZ) and National Sporting Organisations.
UTSNZ enables tertiary students to represent their whare wānanga in sport at regional or national championship events. University of Auckland along with AUT, University of Waikato, Victoria University of Wellington, University of Otago, Lincoln University, Massey University and the University of Canterbury each send their top teams to participate in these events.
Each National Championship event contributes points towards the overall shield which at the end of the year is awarded to the top sporting university in New Zealand.
