Official recognition principles

These principles outline the processes and requirements which must be met for club registration at the University of Auckland, as well as the conditions that clubs, societies, and associations must adhere to to maintain their recognised and registered status. 

Annual registration

Registrations and registered club trainings for 2026 are now closed.

Grants and receipting

Drop-in sessions

Have a quick question you need answered? Stop by our drop-in sessions and check in with one of our administrators. All sessions run 11.30am-1.30pm. A notification on Engage will be made if there are any changes to the above schedule.

Booking requests

Registered university clubs can request rooms, equipment, or both by filling out the booking request form. For multiple space bookings, a drop-in consultation is required and our team will coordinate the rest.

Club Support and Engagement Committee

The Club Support and Engagement Committee guides and supports student clubs to operate safely, fairly, and in alignment with University values. It manages club recognition, advises on governance, helps resolve disputes, and fosters a welcoming and active campus community.
