Data analysis and visualisation in R
An online workshop introducing the R programming language for data visualisation and analysis, aimed at researchers with no programming experience.

The R programming language is widely used within academia and beyond for statistical computing and data visualisation. This workshop is taught online over 2 half-days and is designed to introduce the basics of R to researchers who are new to programming, and to provide some direction for their ongoing learning.

Learning outcomes
Attendees will be able to:
- Build and modify plots to visualise tabular data
- Explore tabular datasets using vectors, data frames, and functions
- Import, manipulate, and export datasets and figures
After the workshop

- Researchers and postdoctoral students are encouraged to engage with their peers by joining Hacky Hour to post questions and exchange ideas.
- The Statistical Consulting Centre (SCC) provides a two-day in-person workshop that may suit those who want more focus on using statistics in their research.
