Research data consultation
Request a consultation to discuss the management of data throughout your project, and the services and support available to you.
The Centre for eResearch offers in-person and online consultations free of charge to researchers (including postgraduate students and their supervisors) who need advice on a specific topic, or customised solutions to manage their research data, including:
- Complying with policies impacting research data management or AI in research
- Creating a Data Management Plan (DMP)
- Working with sensitive or restricted research data
- Using appropriate data collection and generation tools
- Identifying appropriate options for research data storage, transfer, or sharing
- Accessing research compute services such as High-Performance Computing (HPC) and GPUs
- Publishing datasets and increasing the visibility of your outputs
- Organising and describing data with metadata-rich README files to enable the FAIR principles for research data
Working in collaboration with Digital Services, we can assist in developing tailored solutions or recommending options from the wide range of services available at the University.
For a general overview of all these topics, see the Managing research data workshop.
