Course waitlist

Waitlisting may occur particularly for some popular classes.

For some popular courses, you may be able to go onto a course waitlist if classes are full. 

Being on a waitlist means that if a place opens up, or your academic merit is confirmed as meeting the requirements for entry, you may be offered a place in the course.

Please note, entry into these courses may be based on:

  • Academic merit, such as a GPA requirement
  • Other selection criteria and decided by your faculty

Reasons for waitlisting

There are a number of reasons behind why you may be put onto a waitlist for your chosen course. These include: 

  • There is a GPA requirement, which means enrolment is based on academic merit
  • There are limited places
  • Other criteria that is specific to your chosen course
