Scholarships for the first year of undergraduate study in the Faculty of Law

University of Auckland Faculty of Law Entry Level Scholarship

A Scholarship of up to $1,000 for school-leavers planning to enrol in an LLB or LLB conjoint degree at the University of Auckland.

Geoff Ricketts Heartland Bank Scholarship

Scholarships of up to $10,000pa for up to three years for New Zealand Citizens or Permanent Residents enrolling in the first year of an undergraduate degree in the faculties of Business and Economics, Law or Medical and Health Sciences. Next available for 2028.  

Scholarships for the second or subsequent year of study in Law

Brookfields Lawyers First in Family Scholarship

A $4,000 Scholarship to support a New Zealand citizen or permanent resident entering Part II of an LLB or LLB conjoint programme, who is the first in their family to attend university.

Brookfields Lawyers Scholarship

A $4,000 Scholarship for a student who has completed Part II of an LLB and is enrolling full-time in Part III.

Keystone Trust Scholarships for Tertiary Students

The Keystone Trust offers a range of scholarships for tertiary students part-way through their degree study in property or construction-related fields, particularly those whose paths are being blocked by financial challenges or difficult circumstances.

Kate Edger Foundation Women in Law Award

An Award of $7500, to assist a woman enrolled full-time in the third year or above of a law degree at the University of Auckland or AUT. The award is intended to encourage equity within the Law profession by encouraging women from diverse backgrounds and communities to study Law.
