Programme overview

No fees for 2018 programme

We want to support aspiring teachers, social workers and sport, health
and physical education professionals who have potential to become degree-level
qualified. If you are successful in your application for this certificate, you
will study for free in 2018.

This certificate provides many benefits. While many students study it in order to meet the academic entry requirements for a bachelor programme taught through the Faculty of Education and Social Work (listed under further study options), others take it in order to gain the confidence to start tertiary level study - or to get a taste of what university life is like.

A supportive learning environment will expose you to different teaching and learning methods, with the opportunity for discussions, presentations, and investigations, often with the aid of digital technologies.

Programme structure

You will complete a total of eight courses over the year (four courses per semester).
