Postgraduate study in Teaching

What can you study in Teaching?

We offer a wide range of programmes and courses starting from initial teacher education for those wishing to teach through to research masters, which investigate areas of educational practice relevant to your interests or work setting. Our graduate diplomas in early childhood, primary or secondary education offer routes into teaching for graduates wishing to use their degree to teach.

We also provide a range of postgraduate diplomas and certificates that offer specialisations in literacy education, reading recovery or language teaching. Our masters courses include both taught courses and a research project, or a blend of the two. Specific masters cover primary teaching and teaching English to speakers of other languages.

Our Master of Education Practice allows you to investigate an issue that will improve your work in teaching.
