This masters programme will equip new and recent graduates from any field with the capabilities required to advance careers in management and marketing.

Develop advanced knowledge, skills and understanding in business management and marketing to enhance your employability and career progression.

This flexible, practitioner-focused programme is designed for new or recent graduates from any field. It will equip you with the capabilities to enter or progress business management careers in local and international business.

A 120-point fast-track option is available to graduates with an honours degree or a postgraduate diploma.

A specialisation in either Digital Marketing or Strategic Management, will develop capabilities that will enable you to apply analytical and solution-seeking skills to organisational challenges.

Courses are scheduled in the evenings and within quarter-based teaching term dates to provide flexibility for working professionals.

The Master of Business Management will be offered for the first time in Quarter 2, 2021, subject to regulatory approval.

Entry requirements

This programme is offered in 2021 subject to regulatory approval. The indicative requirements are provided below. More detailed information will be provided soon.

Taught 180 points

You must have completed a bachelors degree in business or a non-business degree in a relevant discipline, such as the arts, creative arts and industries, education, engineering, health and medical sciences, law, sciences or technology.

Your study must have been at a recognised university (or similar institution), and you will need a GPA/GPE of 4.0 or higher in 90 points of the most advanced courses of the bachelors programme.

You can also be admitted to the programme if you have completed a bachelors degree and passed 60 points in the Postgraduate Certificate in Business Management from this University with a GPA of 4.0 or higher, provided that the postgraduate certificate has not been awarded.

Taught: 120 points

You must have completed the Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) or the Postgraduate Diploma in Business from this University with a GPA of 4.0 or higher, or the equivalent.

This programme can be studied full-time or part-time and is open to domestic students.
