CIE Participation Guidelines

Participation Guidelines for CIE Programmes
At the Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (CIE), we are proud to offer our programmes free of charge to University of Auckland students and staff. In return, we ask all participants to respect the time, effort, and opportunities provided by committing fully to the programme and upholding the values of our community.
Commitment to Programme Timing
Our programmes rely on teamwork, collaboration, and consistent participation. By registering, you are agreeing to attend all scheduled sessions and meet the commitments outlined for the programme. If you are unable to meet these requirements, you may not be able to continue in the programme.
Respectful Behaviour
All participants are expected to act in a professional and respectful manner towards staff, facilitators, mentors, and fellow students. The University of Auckland’s Student Code of Conduct applies to all CIE activities.
CIE Discretion
As these are extracurricular opportunities, participation is a privilege, not a right. CIE reserves the sole discretion to withdraw any participant from a programme if commitments are not met or if behaviour is deemed inappropriate or disruptive. We believe these guidelines help ensure that all participants benefit from an inclusive, productive, and inspiring environment.
