Student Access Cards

Learn about how you can gain access to our facilities with your Campus Card and Access Card.

If you have damaged or lost your Campus Card (blue card which is both your student ID card and Access Card), please visit AskAuckland Central, located in Alfred Nathan House at 24 Princes St, to request a replacement. DO NOT apply for a replacement here. 

If you are experiencing access issues with your Campus Card, then complete the Card Not Working or Limited Access link below.

As a student in our faculty (Architecture, Dance Studies, Fine Arts, Music and Urban Planning), you will have access to buildings, studio space and rehearsal areas where you are permitted. Students must exit the building before the end of access hours. Please keep within these hours for your Health and Safety. Access Card usage is monitored by the University.

Access is available via your blue Campus Card, or if you are still on the two-card process (student ID card and white Access Cards), the Access Card.

If you have damaged or lost your Campus Card (blue card which is both your student ID card and Access Card), please visit AskAuckland Central, located in Alfred Nathan House at 24 Princes St, to request a replacement. This will then become your new ID and Access Card in one.

Problems with Access Card

If your card is not working, or has limited access, please complete the Access Card Request form (selecting Card not working/Limited access) and submit.

You will receive an email with an update on your request within 2-3 working days.

Campus Cards

Postgraduate Lounge access

Postgraduate Diploma, Masters and Doctoral students can register as a member of the Postgraduate Students Association (PGSA) to gain access to the PG Lounge area. Head over to the PGSA registration area and follow the prompts. If you received your Access Card since you first registered, just update your details.

If you have any further queries about the PG Lounge in Kate Edger Information Commons, please contact the PGSA Administrator - include your ID number and Access Card number.
