Sport Science


A pathway in sport science will advance your knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, sports and exercise injuries, recovery and rehabilitation. You will develop an understanding of how the body moves, how it responds to physical activity (and inactivity), how fitness can be tested and developed, and the connections between physical activity and health.

Areas of study

To complement your sport science focus you can choose from a range of courses across different disciplines to make up your Science or Sport, Health and Physical Education degree. Other pathways that complement this subject include health education and promotion, sport coaching and leadership, health and physical education, and dance.
