Tōia ki Waipapa – Unibound Māori

Tōia ki Waipapa is for all Māori school leavers who may be considering a tertiary pathway.

The programme allows tauira the opportunity to take a course over summer school which can go towards your degree. They will get an on campus experience which delivers appropriate learning support programmes in preparation for University.

This full-time programme will take place from Tuesday 5 January – Wednesday 17 February. Students will also have the opportunity to be a part of a number of activities both on and off campus.

Registrations are open for those who have shown interest or those who have already applied for a University of Auckland accredited programme. Students who have not yet formally applied to the University will get guidance and assistance to do so. In addition to this, Tōia ki Waipapa is also open to Māori students who did not achieve University Entrance or get an offer to the University.

If you are interested please register your interest in Tōia ki Waipapa – Unibound Māori.

If you’re from outside the Auckland area, you can also apply for an accommodation scholarship to live on campus for the duration of the programme. See the University of Auckland Summer Start Scholarship.
