The University of Auckland offers a range of accommodation options for study abroad and exchange students to suit your preferences and budget.

University Accommodation

Living in University Accommodation is a great way to immerse yourself in campus life as you adjust to a new environment. From single rooms in shared apartments to private studios, our self-catered and catered residences offer students the opportunity to live within our thriving campus community. Benefits include:

Fees are quoted in NZD as of 2024 and include one-time application and residential services fees. Where optional meal plans are available, these are an additional weekly rate.

Application deadlines

We encourage you to apply for University Accommodation as soon as applications open, even if you have not yet completed your application to study at the University of Auckland. This will help to ensure you are placed in your preferred accommodation option.

Please note that you do not need to apply for Accommodation individually if your home provider or university arranges this for you. Please check with your home provider or university.
