Reasons and Contract

Under postponement due to Covid-19

This two-day symposium sets out to explore the relations between contracts, contract law, and practical reasoning. Themes explored include monism and pluralism in private law theory, contracts and individual liberty, and the publicity of contract law. The symposium is hosted by Arie Rosen, Jesse Wall, and Matthew Harding (Melbourne), and will also feature Andrew Gold (Brooklyn), George Pavlakos (Glasgow), Sally Zhu (Glasgow), Simone Degeling (UNSW), Ruth Chang (Oxford), Tan Zhong Xing (NUS), and Mindy Chen-Wishart (Oxford). Participation is by invitation only but limited space for attendance may be available to those whose research relates to the conference theme.
