The University of Auckland has launched an exciting new tool to help you find your perfect overseas programme. You can choose between 125 partner universities in 25 countries! Explore your options online and get matched to programmes that suit your degree and personal preferences.

Exchange Process

  1. Research exchange university options.
  2. Apply to 360° Auckland Abroad by completing the Pre-application form and supporting documents by the deadline.
  3. Accept your exchange nomination offer.
  4. Apply to the host university.
  5. Get accepted by host university.
  6. Apply for a study visa (if required).
  7. Apply for StudyLink.
  8. Go on exchange.
  9. Apply for transfer credit

Money matters

When you go on exchange you will be enrolled as a University of Auckland student and pay tuition fees here, not at the host university.
