"Auckland is a city known for its diversity, with people from different backgrounds and cultures. The University truly reflects this environment, which fascinated me as I envisioned studying in a setting where I could learn from individuals with diverse perspectives and experiences. Being an international student from India, I found it comforting to know that the University and city provide a safe and welcoming environment for me to pursue my studies.

"The Bachelor of Design is practical, meticulous and comprehensive. The degree encompasses a range of design disciplines and provides the flexibility to explore different areas before specialising. This flexibility was particularly appealing because it allowed me to discover my interests within the design field, particularly as a first-year student.

"Being taught by academic professionals and industry experts who actively contribute to their design disciplines was incredibly inspiring. The University has established connections with industry partners, offering prospects for internships and career advancement. This aspect particularly appealed to me as it would allow me to gain experience and pave the way for a successful career in design."
