Directors
The Directors oversee the day-to-day activities of the Centre and currently are Craig Elliffe and Victoria Plekhanova.
Other members include academics from the Auckland Law School and the Business School, as well as honorary members.

Craig Ellife is a Professor of Law specialising in taxation, with extensive experience in both academia and the private sector. Appointed to a chair in 2008 after 14 years as a tax partner at KPMG and 9 years at Chapman Tripp, Craig's research focuses on international tax, corporate tax, and tax avoidance. He is the author of International and Cross-Border Taxation in New Zealand (Thomson Reuters, 3rd edition), which won the JF Northey best law book award in 2015, as well as Dividend Imputation: Practice and Procedure (Lexis). Craig also directs the MTaxS programme, New Zealand's leading postgraduate tax course, and was a member of the Government's Tax Working Group (TWG) in 2018/19.
Victoria is a Senior Lecturer specialising in taxation, with extensive practical experience in commercial and taxation law, which includes both advisory and litigation work. She is the Subject Group Lead (Taxation) and the Tax Major Lead at the University of Auckland Business School and Vice President of the Australasian Tax Teachers Association (ATTA). Victoria’s primary research interest is an intersection between taxation, trade, and investment law and taxation law in broader contexts.
