Faculty of Creative Arts and Industries Entry Level Undergraduate Scholarship

A Scholarship of up to $5,000 for the first year of undergraduate study in the Faculty of Creative Arts and Industries, up to $5,000 for New Zealand citizens or permanent residents who have applied for a University of Auckland school-leaver/first-year scholarship.

An Award to support enrolment in a BAS degree for a New Zealand citizen or permanent resident from the Canterbury region.

Jasmax Scholarship for Māori and Pacific Students

A Scholarship of $5,000 pa for up to five years of study for Māori and Pacific students enrolling in the first year of a Bachelor of Architectural Studies.

Murray Wren Undergraduate Scholarship in Architecture

A Scholarship to support New Zealand citizens or permanent residents enrolling in the first year of a BAS, up to $15,000 pa for up to three years.

Rewi Thompson Undergraduate Scholarship in Architecture

An $8,000 Scholarship to support a Māori student enrolling full-time in a Bachelor of Architectural Studies.

RTA Studio Scholarship for Māori Architecture Students

A Scholarship to support Māori BAS students, $10,000 in total over 5 years.

An Award of up to $5,000 for Māori students enrolling in any year of a Bachelor of Design.

Bachelor of Design Award for Pacific Students

An Award of up to $5,000 for Pacific students enrolling in any year of a Bachelor of Design.

Bachelor of Design Bring Your Own Device Award

An Award of up to $3,000 to assist first year, international and domestic, Bachelor of Design students with the purchase of a course related device.

Bachelor of Design Game-Changer Scholarship

A three year Scholarship of $5,000 per annum for an international or domestic Bachelor of Design Student with a passion for design who wants to be a game-changer in the field.

Music

Auckland Centennial Music Festival Award

An Award of $1,400 to assist a first year BMus student enrolling in Creative Practice: Classical or Jazz.

Beatrice Ratcliffe Entry-Level Scholarship in Music

A Scholarship of up to $5,000 for international and domestic students commencing full-time undergraduate study in the School of Music.

Marie D'Albini Scholarship

A Scholarship of up to $5,000 to support students enrolled in a Bachelor of Music: Creative Practice in singing.

Pears-Britten Award in Singing

An Award of $1,800 to assist a student enrolling full-time in the first year of a BMus Creative Practice: Classical programme in singing.

Swedlund Music Scholarship

A Scholarship of up to $8,000 to support domestic and international BMus and BMus conjoint students.

Taurus Charitable Trust Entry-Level Scholarship in Music

A Scholarship of up to $4,000 to support New Zealand citizens or permanent residents enrolling in the first year of a Bachelor of Music or conjoint degree.

External scholarships and awards

Keystone Trust Study Award

This Award is open to secondary school leavers​ within New Zealand or those entering tertiary study for their first year of study to an approved course, and who meet the specified criteria below. Applicants must be a New Zealand Citizen or Permanent Resident, demonstrate financial hardship or circumstantial need, and intend to study a property or construction related tertiary qualification, or a course of study aligned to the built environment.

Each Award includes a scholarship of $5,500 per annum for a period of three years, and also offers mentoring and networking opportunities across all of our sponsor family. As a member of the Keystone whanau, you will gain exposure through work experience opportunities, events and mentoring programmes and also gain access and insights to some of the leading organisations in the sector.
