LLB Part I Planning
The LLB has a two-part admission process, LLB Part I and LLB Part II. Proper planning in Part I is essential to ensure eligibility for progression to Part II.

- LAW 121G is typically taken in Semester One. Passing this course allows you to progress to LAW 131 and LAW 141 in Semester Two.
- Note: Students must be active in the LLB Part I programme to enrol for LAW 131 and 141. Grade requirements may change each year.
Non-Law courses
In addition to the three LLB Part I courses, students must enrol in five non-Law courses (75 points) as part of the foundation for a conjoint or other bachelor’s degree.

Note: The combination of law and non-law courses in Part I forms the basis of your LawGPA, which determines eligibility for LLB Part II.
Progression to LLB Part II (2027)
To be considered for LLB Part II 2027, students must have:
- Passed LAW 121G Law & Society
- Passed LAW 131 Legal Method and LAW 141 Legal Foundations with at least a C+ in each course
- Passed at least 75 points (or equivalent) of non-law courses
- Achieved a minimum LawGPA of 3.00 (C+)
