Books and Shirts for Prisons!
This Access to Justice Year initiative is a collaboration between the Law School’s student Equity Officers and The Good Lawyer.
It is a drive for donations to support people in custody by providing access to books in prisons and suitable court attire for court appearances.
Donations can be dropped off at:
Auckland Law School Reception
Level 2, Building 810
Corner of Eden Crescent and Short Street
We’re collecting:
- Books for the Good Book Project
Must be in excellent condition (paperbacks only — no yellowing, stains, or broken spines). Preferred genres include crime, mystery, historical fiction, biographies, self-help, psychology, fitness, mythology, and more. Recent, good-condition magazines are also welcome. - Men’s formal shirts for the Shirt On Your Back Project
Shirts must be clean, cufflink-free, and in excellent condition with no stains or damage. All sizes are appreciated.
