Books and Shirts for Prisons!

This Access to Justice Year initiative is a collaboration between the Law School’s student Equity Officers and The Good Lawyer.

It is a drive for donations to support people in custody by providing access to books in prisons and suitable court attire for court appearances.

Donations can be dropped off at:
Auckland Law School Reception
Level 2, Building 810
Corner of Eden Crescent and Short Street

We’re collecting:

  • Books for the Good Book Project
Must be in excellent condition (paperbacks only — no yellowing, stains, or broken spines). Preferred genres include crime, mystery, historical fiction, biographies, self-help, psychology, fitness, mythology, and more. Recent, good-condition magazines are also welcome.
  • Men’s formal shirts for the Shirt On Your Back Project
Shirts must be clean, cufflink-free, and in excellent condition with no stains or damage. All sizes are appreciated.

Help make a difference — donate today and support dignity, equity, and access to justice.
