Click and Deliver

The Click and Deliver service supports students and staff who are unable to collect books from our libraries for an extended time.

You may qualify for the service if you are unable to come to the library for one of these reasons:

  • You are enrolled in courses delivered flexibly.
  • You have a permanent or temporary disability.
  • Your primary location of study or work is outside the Auckland region.

If none of these are relevant and you have other barriers to accessing our physical collections, you may still be eligible. When applying, tell us about your situation. We assess each application on a case-by-case basis.

Please complete this application form. We will review your application and respond within two business days.

When your registration is confirmed, you can start requesting books from our libraries. Choose Home Address as your pickup location to get the book delivered to you.

Some items may not be available for Click and Deliver. You can request scans of chapters and articles by using the Digitize Part option in the catalogue.

  • You can request one article per journal issue and one chapter per book.
  • Items are to be used for study, research or teaching purposes only.

Books are couriered to the address you gave us in your registration. You are responsible for arranging and paying for the return of items.

Articles and chapters will be scanned and emailed to you.

Please renew or return books by the due date to avoid suspension of your borrowing privileges.

What happens when you have overdue, lost or damaged items

If someone requests a book that you have borrowed, you may have to return it before the original due date. We will email a recall notice with the new date that the recalled book is due.

Check due dates and renew loans through My Library Account.
