You will develop culturally sustaining conceptual and methodological tools, have training in advanced academic writing, and carry out work on your own research in a cohort.

The EdD provides a cohort approach to learning how to conduct applied research aimed at social transformation. During the first two years of part-time coursework, you will delve into an area of passion to create a research proposal that builds on what is known about your topic and proposes methods to undertake a study aimed at addressing systemic inequities in our schools, communities, and institutions.
