Siyu Zhang – Bachelor of Education (TESOL)
The Bachelor of Education (TESOL) is allowing Siyu to perfect her language and teaching skills, and work towards her goal of helping other international students to learn English in the future.
“As an international student, it’s essential to have experiences of studying abroad. Studying the Bachelor of Education (TESOL) at the University of Auckland has allowed me to perfect my written and spoken language, and my teaching skills.
“I’m really enjoying the variety of interesting course topics, from instructed language learning to education and social justice. Studying different teaching methods and learning how children develop has been indispensable in achieving my goal of becoming a skilled English teacher.
"I look forward to using my degree to help other international students to learn English in the future.”
