About NZSSN

The New Zealand Social Statistics Network (NZSSN) assists in developing social science research in the academic, government, and private sectors, following the model of the Australian Consortium for Social and Political Research Incorporated (ACSPRI).

NZSSN's core business is the running of short courses in social science research methods. Our next programme of courses will take place in November 2020. Where our instructors are local, courses will take place at Massey University in Wellington, but we will be running several courses online through Zoom, for the first time in our 15 years.

This enables cost savings in many areas, and is a new adventure for all of us, so we have reduced the fees for these courses. We will aim to run them in person again in the future, though, and possibly in a mixed fashion, depending on their success in November. Please see details of the courses on offer, below.

Email nzssncourses@auckland.ac.nz if you have any enquiries about courses.
