About NZSSN
The New Zealand Social Statistics Network (NZSSN) assists in developing social science research in the academic, government, and private sectors, following the model of the Australian Consortium for Social and Political Research Incorporated (ACSPRI).
NZSSN has been running short course programmes covering social research methods and statistics, each year since 2005. We currently aim for a programme at Massey University in Wellington each November and one at Waipapa Taumata Rau, University of Auckland each February. Some courses remain online only, especially where licensed software is involved. We currently have no plans to introduce a hybrid model for courses.
Courses run based on there being sufficient enrolments; please see the details of courses we offer, and our fee structure, below. If you want to be kept informed about NZSSN's activities, please email nzssncourses@auckland.ac.nz.
NZSSN's activities are administered through COMPASS Research Centre at the University of Auckland, but please note that courses carry no university accreditation. Enrolments are managed by the University's Public Programmes (Event Services).
All fees are shown in New Zealand Dollars, inclusive of GST.
