"I am working as a team assistant for the governance unit in the World Bank in Vietnam. This position involves carrying out the full range of support work, including managing processes and monitoring schedules related to the team's/unit's products and tasks.

"I coordinate extensively with service units and liaise frequently with team members both at headquarters and in Hanoi as well as external counterparts.

"I support a team that provides analytical and advisory products to the government, so I have valuable access to a great pool of knowledge about public debt, public expenditure, citizen rights, tax reform and all related to governance. Supporting the team to achieve the outcome of the programs and working in an environment with lots of talented colleagues are the most enjoyable parts of my job.

Completing a Master of Arts in Development Studies was valuable for my career. The programme equipped me with knowledge of the development sector and improved my research and analysis skills, which are essential to my job.

"The dream to become an expert in the development sector motivated me to choose the Development Studies program after I completed my bachelors degree. After thorough research, I decided to study for an MA at the University of Auckland.

"Studying Arts was a stepping stone in my life because it made me realise that you can make anything happen as long as you are striving for that."
