Kennedy Limpus – Bachelor of Commerce/Bachelor of Sport, Health and Physical Education
The conjoint programme is allowing Kennedy to combine his passions for sport and business, preparing him for a career in the fast-growing sport and health industry.
“My passion in life has always been sports and physical activity and while at high school I became interested in business and economics. So, when I heard about the conjoint Bachelor of Commerce/Bachelor of Sport, Health and Physical Education, it was a natural choice for me.
“Through the programme, it’s clear to see the link between both the sporting and business worlds and it’s really interesting to see how ideas and practices from both worlds are connected. I've also met a variety of young, like-minded people and developed lasting friendships.
The programme has allowed me to identify my passions and the new possibilities that are available within the industry.
“Travelling between the City and Epsom Campuses for my studies has been extremely easy. I live in O’Rorke Hall in the city, and Epsom Campus is just a short drive away, with free parking. It’s been great to have access to resources from both the City and Epsom campuses.
“There is a clear contrast between the hustle and bustle of the busy city and the calm, friendly and natural setting of Epsom Campus, but both campuses provide great facilities and large amounts of support for students.
“In modern times, the sporting and business worlds are now more intertwined than ever, with both sharing a number of similar skill sets. The programme has allowed me to identify my passions and the new possibilities that are available within the industry. I believe my studies are setting me up to thrive in a modern and progressive setting, where I am able to follow my passion of working in the ever-growing sporting world.”
