Tuākana Manaakitanga

Providing support and assistance to our students is a core part of Faculty whakawhanaungatanga.

We understand that the unexpected can happen at any time, and this can impact on the wellbeing of our students and their ability to focus on their studies. Through Tuākana Manaakitanga, we foster whakawhanaungatanga and provide a safe and welcoming environment for students to ask for and receive the support they need.

As a student, I understand the external pressures that come with studying. Bills due, whānau responsibilities, remembering to eat healthily, and sleeping for 8 hours a night. Sometimes the balance just isn't quite right. This is the reality that many students face, which is where Tuākana Manaakitanga can help relieve these external stresses so that you can put your all into your studies.”
