Strategic plan

Dear Centre, Your arms are open your cupboards are full. In you squats laughter, balloons, and barefeet, connection and critical thinking. Your doors say "Come in." Your windows say "See more." Your rooms say "Grow." Your roof says "Go. Bust through. Be new. Renui." Your walls are tattooed with sea foam loam and castle moats upraised. Your corners burst with dance and honest singing praised. You give shelter to those who know nothing about shut doors or closed windows. You fly art's flag in skies where all look up, wonder and wander, negotiate and navigate one by one, and all of us changed, changing, changeful. You are as playful as a freshly mown field where boys kick soccer balls and girls walk in lines of four, laughing to the clouds. You are a jungle gym with bright tyre swings arcing through crisp autumn air. You are a taula, an anchor, carved with our symbols and stories. You hold us firm while we flow cast off and away. You are embedded with paua purpose - the eyes of every creative ancestor we bring. - Selina Tusitala Marsh
