Sociology and Criminology Undergraduate Book Prize

Sociology and Criminology celebrate the success of our best undergraduate students by awarding the student with the best grades in each of our undergraduate courses with a sociology or criminology-themed book.

Senior Scholarship

One senior scholarship is awarded each year to a Sociology or Criminology student based on the results of the candidate's work at Stage III.

Sociology Korowai Prize

Awarded to the top Māori graduand in Sociology or Criminology (undergraduate or postgraduate) in each graduation ceremony.

Postgraduate

Roger Oppenheim Memorial Prize in Sociological Research

Awarded annually for the best sociological thesis or dissertation completed in the preceding academic year by a student enrolled in a masters degree in Sociology or Criminology.

Sociology Korowai Prize

Awarded to the top Māori graduand in Sociology or Criminology (undergraduate or postgraduate) in each graduation ceremony.

University of Auckland Marsden Grant Masters Scholarship in the Sociology of Energy and Environment

The main purpose of the Scholarship is to encourage and support a Masters student to undertake research that advances our understanding of energy systems as social systems embedded in entire ways of life.
