Wellbeing research, teaching and practice in the Auckland Medical Programme: SAFE DRS and beyond

Dr Fiona Moir’s seminar outlined some of the wellbeing research that she has been involved in over the last decade including a discussion on different study designs. Dr Moir summarised the development and implementation of the SAFE-DRS wellbeing curriculum – a curriculum focusing on Doctor wellbeing and selfcare practices, taught in the Auckland Medical Programme. Lastly Dr Moir discussed some of the wellbeing initiatives that have been devised and implemented by the Medical Programme’s Pastoral Care Sub-committee, providing valuable experience and advice to those wanting to organise initiatives in within their own organisations.
