Study options at Manukau

Access information on your study options at our Manukau Campus.

Our Manukau programmes and courses are delivered at Manukau Institute of Technology’s Otara Campus and are designed to be accessible for you.

Our undergraduate and foundation lectures and tutorials are held between 9am and 3pm.

Selected postgraduate courses are offered at Manukau, or courses can be studied online or at Epsom Campus. Postgraduate courses are held in the evenings, over a block of days, online or through a combination of study modes.

Bachelor of Education (Teaching) Primary specialisation  

Study a world-ranked University of Auckland teaching degree through the University of Auckland at Manukau programme.

Tertiary Foundation Certificate (Education and Social Work pathway)

Gain the entry criteria, study skills and confidence to begin degree-level study with this university bridging programme. The Education and Social Work pathway within the Tertiary Foundation Certificate is tailor-made to prepare you for studying a Bachelor of Education (Teaching) - Primary Specialisation in Manukau.

Many people choose to complete block or online courses with some on-campus days at the Epsom Campus in Auckland. Others choose to study completely online.

In 2019 a new Manukau Postgraduate Support Network will be available for postgraduate students in Manukau and East Auckland – making it even easier for you to connect with other professionals.
