The Electric Power Optimization Centre (EPOC) develops and applies mathematical modelling, optimisation methods and statistical tools to analyse and improve the design of modern electricity markets.
EPOC's software is used by New Zealand Electricity Authority as part of their Electricity Market Information system. These tools are also used by market participants to improve the efficiency of generation schemes and demand-side participation.
