Engineering Gala (CANCELLED)

We open the doors of our brand new building to the public to discover, learn about, and enjoy the possibilities of engineering.

We regret to announce the cancellation of our 2020 Engineering Gala. This is based on advice from the Government, as well as our responsibility to our staff, students and the public in response to the Covid-19 situation.

Thank you for your ongoing support to Te Herenga Mātai Pūkaha. Please stay safe, remain vigilant, and be kind. We look forward to seeing you here in the near future.

We're celebrating the opening of our new building, Te Herenga Mātai Pūkaha, with an Engineering Gala! This is a full-day event of activities for people of all ages – from young children who are exercising their curiosity about how the world around them works, to alumni and professional engineers who are after inspiration and connections as they make their mark in the world.

There's something for everyone: building tours, activities, seminars and more, so come along to experience our new space and the people involved in the next generation of engineering.

Register your interest to get more information and to sign up for activities as places become available.
