Ingabirano Nintunze

As part of her masters project, Ingabirano Nintunze offers a stage reading of her play The Devourers. Based on Pacific, East African, and Indigenous American mythologies, The Devourers follows two sisters – Laura, responsible and steadfast, and Lana, full of mischief – after Lana's presumed drowning draws Laura into an underworld of darkness, magic, and danger. The reading will be performed by University of Auckland students and the event is free but ticketed.

After the performance, feedback forms will be available in the interest of future work done on the script, and participation is appreciated.
