Role description:
Key Responsibilities
- Account management
- Client relationship ownership: Serve as the primary contact for key clients, fostering strong, trust-based relationships
- Client strategy and growth: understand client business goals and data strategies to identify opportunities for expanding services and delivering additional value
- Client Success Management: Monitor client satisfaction and proactively address any concerns to ensure a high-quality experience throughout the engagement lifecycle
- Commercial Oversight: Oversee account renewals, upsells, and commercial negotiations to align services with client needs and business outcomes.
- Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear, consistent communication with clients, ensuring alignment on goals, expectations, and timelines.
Team and Collaboration
- Internal Coordination: Work closely with internal teams—such as data scientists, analysts, and engineers—to translate client objectives into technical direction and outcomes.
- Client Workshops and Discovery: Participate in sessions to gather requirements, understand challenges, and help shape solution directions from a business perspective.
- Process Improvement: Provide feedback and contribute ideas to enhance client engagement practices and service delivery frameworks.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in account management, preferably within a data consultancy or analytics-focused environment.
- Strong understanding of data solutions, analytics, and emerging AI technologies.
- Ability to communicate complex technical ideas in simple, client-friendly language
- Proven success in managing and growing key client accounts.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Based in Auckland with flexibility to attend onsite client meetings.
- Demonstrated growth mindset and strong interest in solving client challenges in a fast-evolving work environment.

Programme Description:
Blackstone's Summer Analyst Program is a 10-week in-person experience, offering participants extensive exposure across the firm. This programme provides Summer Analysts with valuable guidance through mentorship, continuous feedback, technical and soft skill training, networking opportunities with professionals across the firm, and the unique chance to fully immerse themselves in Blackstone's culture.
Primary responsibilities will include:
- Working with the team to perform due diligence on prospective investments and participating in all aspects of the investment process from origination to deal closing.
- Responsibilities will include meeting with potential borrowers and their teams, industry/strategy research, quantitative or financial analysis, and drafting investment memoranda for internal and external use
- Modelling and evaluating various types of deal structures
- Assisting with the structuring and negotiating of deal term sheets
- Reviewing credit agreements and other loan documentation
- Thinking creatively about ways to improve the team’s existing processes
Qualifications:
Blackstone seeks individuals who work well in a team-driven working group, are highly motivated, intelligent, and have demonstrated excellence in prior endeavours.
In addition to strong analytical and quantitative skills, a successful candidate will have:
- Prior relevant internship experience is desirable, or strong interest in private investing
- A desire to work in a team environment and prioritise tasks
- Strong financial modelling skills, with past experience modelling and evaluating transactions
- Excellent technical proficiency in Excel
- Prior experience preparing presentation materials using PowerPoint
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

Job Description:
The Summer Analyst will be supporting the PWS distribution business in the region. The role will be involved in multiple functions across PWS, including but not limited to: Sales, Investor Services, Product Strategy, Business Development and Marketing. Support multiple projects and initiatives including conducting market research, project management for product launches, participation in internal product teach-ins and client sessions, execution of distribution agreement negotiations, investor due diligence, marketing material requests, roadshow coordination and the fund closing process. Responsibilities:
Blackstone’s Real Estate Group offers Analysts the experience of a professional team whose work involves the acquisition of real estate companies, portfolios of real estate assets and individual properties worldwide. Throughout the program, Analysts are involved with the development, structuring and financing of transactions and regularly attend both internal and external meetings, negotiations and due diligence sessions.
The Analysts will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of transactions including acquisitions, divestitures, restructurings, recapitalisations, joint ventures and leveraged buyouts. Summer/Winter Analyst work may include: Real estate and public company valuation analysis and modelling; Market research relating to new investment opportunities; Evaluation of CapEx, leasing and disposition proposals for Blackstone’s existing portfolio; Development of Investment Committee presentations; Assistance in the diligence and execution of transactions; Drafting of memoranda for internal and external use.
Qualifications:
