• Provides financial assistance to citizens or permanent residents of Australia, Canada or New Zealand who have a severe disability and who are planning to undertake postgraduate study
• Intended for those who plan to undertake postgraduate study with a view to preparing themselves for a role in the professions, in politics, or more particularly, in university teaching and research and who have disability issues as a continuing interest
• The first Fellowship of its kind in the world

• Designed to attract new international students of high calibre to enrol in undergraduate or postgraduate taught study of one year or more at the University of Auckland
• Open to new full-fee paying international students undertaking a PGDip or Masters (taught) of 120 points or more or an undergraduate degree (with overseas secondary or post-secondary qualifications)
• Up to 50 scholarships awarded annually
