About us
The Business School Careers Centre aims to prepare and support business students and alumni to secure meaningful graduate employment.
Our aim is to help you find interesting, challenging, and enjoyable work that utilises your skills, talents and the knowledge you have gained as a student at the Business School.

The Business School Careers Centre is located on Level 1 of the Sir Owen G Glenn building.
Drop-in
Business School drop-in is held in the red booths on Level 1, OGGB, conducted by our Career Leaders, trained student volunteers. No appointment is necessary. You can receive advice about:
- Your job application (CV, cover letter and application form)
- Your LinkedIn profile
Drop-in hours
Business School drop-in is from 12pm-2pm during each semester (undergraduate teaching periods).
Appointments
You can book a 25- or 50-minute appointment with a Career Development Adviser to discuss:
- Career choices and decision making
- Job search strategies
- Interview preparation
- Further study
- A mock interview
- CV, cover letter and LinkedIn check
- Your skills, values, preferred jobs and industries
- Current students, book on MyCDES.

BizBuzz newsletter
Check your email inbox every second Thursday for our BizBuzz newsletter so that you keep up-to-date with opportunities. In it you will find details of:

All Business School students automatically receive BizBuzz to their preferred email. You can check and change your preferred email by updating your personal details through SSO. Navigate to Email and Phone > Add/update email addresses.

Clubs and societies
We work closely with a number of different student organisations based in the Business School. They undertake a range activities during the year that will help you build your social networks, develop your professional skills and add value to your CV.
