Our Business School Careers Centre hosts a wide range of employer networking events, including presentations and workshops.
We encourage you to attend as many events as possible, beginning in your first year. Not only are they full of useful information and tips but they’re a fantastic way to start developing your networks and introducing yourself to recruiters.

Employer presentations
Improve your prospects in the competitive graduate recruitment market by attending employer presentations. These are a great way to meet recruiters and graduates, expand your network, find out about different organisations and roles and how to apply.
We advertise them in BizBuzz newsletter and on the screens in OGGB.
Speed networking events
Throughout the year, the Business School holds speed networking events for students in Accounting and Finance, ISOM, Marketing, Property and Passport to Business. These events help you showcase your skills to industry, meet potential employers and practise your networking skills. Events are advertised in the BizBuzz newsletter.

Business and Law Expo
Meet representatives from New Zealand's top companies and law firms.
The Business and Law Expo is held in March (usually in week 2 of Semester One), 10.30am-2.30pm.
Career expos are a great way to network with potential employers and find out about the internships, graduate programmes and job vacancies they are offering.
No need to register. Just come along.
Business Majors Expo
The Business Majors Expo is held in Semester Two (usually in week 2 or 3) and is on Level 0 of OGGB, 12.00-2:30pm.
If you’re choosing your major for next year, or are thinking about adding or swapping a major, this event is an opportunity for you to gain insights from industry representatives and help you make an informed decision!
No need to register. Just come along.
