About our department
Our goal is to apply an understanding of the relationship between drug action, concentration and effect to improve human health.
Our research takes an integrative approach through identification of disease processes that may be potential drug targets, design of drugs to interact with these targets, investigation of molecular interactions between drugs and targets, preclinical evaluation of pharmacological activity and toxicity, assessment of effectiveness and safety of medicines in humans, and rational drug dosing for patient populations.
