A Summer Research Scholarship (SRS) provides senior undergraduate students with the opportunity to undertake a supervised research project within the Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences (FMHS) during the University summer break.

• Research projects are undertaken over a 10-week period (November–February)
• Biomedical, clinical, and public health projects are offered and supervised by FMHS academic staff
• Scholars receive a tax-free stipend for the duration of the programme

• Practical research experience with supervision and mentoring
• Development of core research skills relevant to postgraduate study and health-related careers.
• Opportunities to contribute to research outputs such as presentations or publications
• Networking opportunities with researchers, other students, and the wider academic community
