Te Whare Tiaki Koiora | Mo te orangatonutanga o tō tātou Kanorau Koiora | Our partnership between Manaaki Whenua Landcare Research and the University supports research in biodiversity and biosecurity.
Our vision is to develop innovative science solutions that will protect and enhance New Zealand's biodiversity.
In June and July we hosted and recorded three webinars highlighting recent research in biodiversity and biosecurity.
We are committed to producing high-quality research and teaching in the field of biodiversity and biosecurity.
We focus on emerging issues in biosecurity and biodiversity and provide new opportunities for generating synergies around existing areas of research.
We provide opportunities for postgraduate students to undertake masters or PhD research that helps maintain New Zealand’s unique terrestrial environment.
Manaaki Whenua Landcare Research’s core purpose is to drive innovation in the management of terrestrial biodiversity and land resources.
