Vernon started his career while studying the Master of Property with a part-time role at Colliers International’s strategic advisory team that became a full-time role in 2017. He then joined tech property start-up Jasper in late 2019 as an analyst in its commercial real estate investment team.
"At Jasper, being a startup you get a lot of exposure across the whole commercial real estate business so that’s been really helpful to me learning as a recent graduate. It’s not pigeonholed me and I get to sit in on key meetings with offshore parties and large commercial players in New Zealand.
"I also really enjoy working closely with the tech engineering team creating solutions for problems that I see within the commercial real estate sector to make processes faster and more efficient for our clients."
