Doctoral study in the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics at the University of Auckland offers the opportunity to explore complex health challenges across the full spectrum of nutrition science — from molecules to communities.
Our research spans molecular and genetic investigations, clinical interventions, and public health strategies, addressing pressing issues across the human lifespan. You’ll join a collaborative, interdisciplinary research environment, working closely with leading academics and clinicians within the University and in partnership with national and international organisations. Our doctoral candidates are supported to engage in innovative, high-impact projects that advance both scientific understanding and real-world outcomes.
