SoTL in the Health Sciences

Initiated after the ISSOTL 2023 conference in Utrecht, we are health science academics from around the world with a keen interest in the scholarship of teaching and learning.

Currently our members are based in New Zealand, Australia, Canada, the US, South Africa, the Netherlands, and United Kingdom.

Some of us are clinical academics, others bench scientists, public health experts, or social researchers. This is an inclusive and welcoming community of practice!

We meet bimonthly via Zoom and are progressing multiple work streams around topics such as:

Assessment
Community-engaged learning
Resiliency

Some of us are interested in learners’ experiences, others in staff experiences, and some in both.
