Nutrition-related experiences and challenges in hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos
We're looking for individuals with diagnosed or suspected hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos (hEDS/HSD) to take part in a survey exploring nutrition-related experiences, challenges, and opportunities for future research.

What's involved?
You will be asked to complete a two-part online, anonymous questionnaire.
- Part 1 - you will be asked to provide some background information about yourself (such as your age, gender and medical history).
- Part 2 - you will be asked to complete the main survey which covers topics like where you access nutrition information, any nutrition-related challenges your experience, what sort of dietary modifications you have trialed, and what you would like to see out of future research in this space.
All responses will be anonymous, and we expect the survey to take 20 minutes. You can pause the survey at any time, and your responses will be automatically saved for when you are ready to start again.
If you participate in the study, you can go in the draw to win one of 20 x $50 vouchers and contribute to research aimed at developing nutrition strategies to support people with hEDS/HSD in Aotearoa New Zealand
Eligibility criteria
You are eligible to take part in this study if you:
- Are aged 16 years or over
- Have either diagnosed OR suspected hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (hEDS) or hypermobility spectrum disorder (HSD)
