Patient views on medicinal cannabis for neuropathic pain

The University of Auckland is studying people with neuropathic pain to explore their pain, current treatments, medicine preferences, and views on medicinal cannabis as a potential treatment.

What's involved?

Participants will complete a ten minute Qualtrics survey covering non-identifying demographics (age, gender, ethnicity), pain details (location, intensity, timing), current treatments (form, frequency, volume), and views on medicinal cannabis, including preferred dosage forms.

Participants can opt to receive future study updates by entering their email in a separate, unlinked survey. Emails will be used for updates every 2–3 months, and participants can unsubscribe anytime.

Eligibility criteria

To participate in this study, you must

  • Be aged 16 years or above
  • Have experienced chronic or neuropathic pain defined as pain lasting for more than three months
