Clinical Admissions Dashboard

- Number of applications received
- Interview (MMI) GPA cut-off thresholds
- Number of applicants invited to MMI
- Number of applicants attended MMI
- MMI score statistics for successful and unsuccessful applicants, including lowest, lower quartile, mean, median and upper quartile
- Number of offers made and overall application outcome
- Number of filled seats (enrolled students) based on admission category as at semester commencement date
- GPA statistics for successful and unsuccessful applicants, including lowest, lower quartile, mean, median, and upper quartile
- Qualifying programme
This information can be viewed by clinical programme, entry pathway, admission scheme and category (pathway plus scheme). The dashboard is intended to make commonly requested aggregate information easier to access, without the need to submit a formal Official Information Act (OIA) request.
What the dashboard covers
The dashboard currently provides summary information for 2026 entry only. It includes aggregated data for selected stages of the admissions process.
Users can explore the data interactively using filters and visualisations.
What the dashboard does not cover / limitations
The dashboard does not include:
- Gender or ethnicity information
- Individual-level applicant or student data
- UCAT scores are not included in this dashboard and are not released publicly. This is in line with the University’s agreement with the UCAT provider, which prohibits public disclosure of UCAT data
- Not all information requests can be met through the dashboard. Some information may not exist, and some information may not be released for privacy or confidentiality reasons.
To protect individual’s privacy, data is reported in an aggregated and anonymised format to comply with legislative requirements. Where necessary, small counts have been suppressed or rounded to reduce the risk of identifying individuals.
While reasonable steps have been taken to ensure the accuracy of the information presented, the data reflects a snapshot at the time of extraction and may be subject to revision.
Historical years are out of scope. Information for 2027 entry will be published once the figures have been finalised. Please check the Clinical Admissions Selection page for updates.
Admissions to the Year 2 MBChB programme at the start of the academic year will exceed the number of places otherwise specified by the University by nine places. This is intended to account for forecast and expected attrition rates over the course of the MBChB programme.
This dashboard should also be read alongside the official admission documents available under Admission Documents section of the Clinical Admissions Selection page, including Programme Regulations, Programme Limitations, and the Dean’s Determination for Clinical Admissions.
Please note that these documents are updated annually for each new entry cohort.
How to use the dashboard
Privacy and confidentiality
To protect individual privacy, some information is not displayed where counts are very small or where there is a risk that individuals could be identified. Where categories or schemes have low counts (below 7), the corresponding visuals are presented at an aggregate level only.
