Te Taura Here Pūtaiao

Te Taura Here Pūtaiao is a group of Māori staff and graduate students engaged in leadership, teaching and research in Pūtaiao at Waipapa Taumata Rau. This was established in 2020 by Jason Tutara & Te Kahuratai Painting.

We centre Indigenous thinking, innovation and leadership, connecting past, present and future Māori staff and students in Pūtaiao. We recognise the leadership of our members in Putaiao across curriculum, pedagogical, research, and strategic initiatives, and support the growth of Kaupapa Māori initiatives in Pūtaiao within Waipapa Taumata Rau, and beyond.
